Water Quality Information
The Illinois Water-Quality Information Mapping Tool provides access to
water-quality information collected and distributed by the Illinois EPA.
This information fulfills requirements identified in the Federal Clean
Water Act. Users of the Mapping Tool can locate, create, and print maps
of any area within Illinois providing lake and stream information as well
as geographic reference information (streets, towns, highways, etc). This
site was developed through a cooperative effort between Illinois EPA and the
United States Geological Survey (USGS).
